Peterhouse Cottage/Pembroke Cottage COVID-19 Precautions
Please read the following notes so that you will know what to expect upon arrival.
- The cottage will have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitised prior to your arrival. All surfaces will have been wiped with anti–viral products. We have provided a hand sanitiser upon entering the cottage so please use this and we have placed handwash/soap at each sink for your use, we strongly advise you to bring a supply of hand sanitisers and antibacterial wipes with you for your stay .
- All bed linen (sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases), together with mattress protectors and pillow protectors will have been changed prior to your arrival. We appreciate that some guests may prefer to bring their own bedding and or towels and we are more than happy for you to do so. We respectfully ask that you let us know before your arrival date or please fold up neatly unused linen and towels.
- On morning of departure, please strip beds and place bed linen, mattress and pillow protectors and towels into the 2 laundry bags provided.
- In order to minimise transmission of the virus by touching loose items around the property , all non essential articles have been removed for the foreseeable future. These include ( but are not limited to) ornaments, books, DVDs, games, maps, tourist literature, information folders and hairdryers. Please do bring your own books, favourite DVDs, maps, games and hairdryers etc. There is a tourist information centre in the moot hall, Keswick.
- If any member of your party displays signs of Covid-19 or is asymptomatic but declares the need to self-isolate, they should advise the owners of agent immediately before checking out and returning home to self-isolate according to current government guidelines. If they develop acute symptoms , have breathing difficulties , or their life is at risk, they should seek medical help without delay.
- Please make sure you have all your personal belongings before you leave the property , as any lost property cannot be returned and will be disposed of.
- In common with most other property owners , we are having to arrange enhance cleaning protocols at this present time. This results in the changeover of the cottage taking longer than normally be the case. For this reason we ask that you do not arrive at the property before 5.00 pm and that you vacate promptly by 10.00 am on the morning of departure. Your help with this is most greatly appreciated and will ensure that the next guests will be able to arrive on time. Thank you.
We sincerely hope that you have a enjoyable holiday in our cottages, however please be aware that the Covid-19 virus is still very active at present. Whilst we have taken extensive precautions to minimise all risks of transmission, any travel to or use of our accommodation is entirely at the risk of our guests. We respectfully ask that all guests familiarise themselves with current government guidelines and abide them at all times.
