Similar to Peter House Cottage, Pembroke Self Catering Cottage is also part of the seventeenth century barn conversion.

Whilst Peter House is more or less on one level (see Peter House Cottage) Pembroke is distinctly on two floors with the bedrooms being downstairs and the open-plan living space upstairs to make best use of the fantastic views. Don’t be concerned about sleeping downstairs as there is no road passing by the cottage, just the farm. Located a little further down the farmyard than Peter House, Pembroke has views over farmland and fields towards the fells beyond..

With exposed beams in the living space, Pembroke Cottage has the charm and character that you would expect from a traditional Cumbrian cottage.

Cottage Layout

Small steps lead down from the entrance hallway to the two bedrooms – one double and one twin. The twin beds can be made up into a superking – please let us know if this is required when booking or before arrival.

The double bedroom has double aspect windows with lovely views. The twin bedroom is light, airy and also benefits from having a separate washbasin.

The bathroom with bath and shower over is situated off the small hallway.

Steps lead up to the large open plan living area with beams and magnificent views over the surrounding farmland and fells.

The kitchen area has an electric cooker, microwave and fridge. The sitting area has a sofa, comfortable chairs, TV with DVD player and coal effect electric fire. The separate dining area has a table and chairs for 4 people.

Parking is by the cottage and there is a bench here for sitting out with colourful flowers in pots. Just up the farmyard is a small enclosed garden, shared with visitors staying at Peter House Cottage.
